The Detoa company that produces wooden toys in Albrechtice, which is in the Jizera Mountains in Liberec Region, is opening its doors to tourists. From March this year, they can take a tour of the century-old factory, during which they will see how a lifeless piece of wood is transformed into a yo-yo, a tank engine or a building set. The tour takes them into the design workshop. Detoa is one of the last manufacturers of wooden toys not only in the Czech Republic, but also in Europe, as practically all the other brands are now made in China.
